Utstein Kloster. Opactwo Utstein to najlepiej zachowany średniowieczny klasztor w Norwegii. Znajduje się na wyspie Mosteroy niedaleko Stavanger.

Utstein Kloster. Utstein abbey is the best preserved mediewal cloister in Norway. It is situated on Mosteroy island, nearby Stavanger.

Utstein Kloster

Opactwo dedykowane św. Wawrzyńcowi, zostało założone w obecnym miejscu za panowania króla Norwegii Magnusa VI (1263-1280). Był to dom augustianów kanoników.

The abbey dedicated to St. Lawrence was established in the present place under the reign of the king of Norway, Magnus VI (1263-1280). It became the home of Augustinian canons.
